About Social Value International
We are a global network committed to advancing social impact management practices and changing the way society accounts for value. Our vision is to create a future where decisions prioritise the well-being of all people and the planet.
Since 2007, SVI has established a network of networks and collaborated to develop the Social Return on Investment methodology and standards for applying the Principles of Social Value. With over 26 affiliate networks around the world, our networks bring together a diverse community of members from different sectors and geographies united by a shared mission. Together, we set standards, offer a professional pathway (with training and accreditation) and support a movement campaigning for a global economy that reduces inequality and enhances wellbeing.
About the Role
SVI is a small team with big ambitions. We work closely with one another and with our affiliated networks to advance our collective mission.
The Communications and Marketing Manager will play a central role in ensuring that we and our networks speak with the same voice, whilst maximising our reach and influence across global communities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to put their stamp on how we do that.
Reporting to the Director of Global Affairs, you will ensure that SVI’s communications, marketing and events function runs efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with – and line manage – the Marketing and Events Coordinator as you design and implement strategies that will improve how we coordinate our communications internally and reach our target audiences. There will also be scope to hire into the team.
Coming into this role requires an understanding of how to accelerate the growth of global movements. You thrive on complex challenges and feel confident in driving a project from start to finish.
Working in a “network of networks”, you will need to work with multiple stakeholders to achieve yours and the team’s objectives. You will need experience in producing key communications materials and managing digital platforms, and have a creative flair for writing.
If you carry these traits, enjoy working with an enthusiastic bunch of people and care about spearheading the social value agenda, we would love to hear from you.
