After experiencing a cardiac arrest during a game, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin advocated for the new HEARTS Act that funds CPR training and defibrillator use in schools. The act was recently passed by the US Senate and will be signed into law by President Biden.
Bummer of the Week:
The US Senate released a new report that accuses Amazon of ignoring worker safety in a push for extreme productivity. The report says that Amazon workers live with severe injuries and the company is not adhering to its own safety protocols.
