As a member of our two-year teaching corps, you’ll work as a full-time educator employed by a school district in an underserved community of your choosing across the U.S. You’ll teach PK-12 in one or more core subjects, including science, math, computer science, STEM, humanities, ELA, reading, special education, Spanish/bilingual education, ESL, history, and social studies.

Please note: We’re seeking mission-aligned candidates who are passionate about equity and are driven to lead systemic change. This program is not primarily a teaching pipeline to fill open teaching roles or to fast track certification. This role will begin in the Fall of the 2025 school year.

Program Benefits:

- Up to $62,000/year full-time salary and benefits (including dental, health, life insurance, retirement plan, vision, and paid vacation)

- A Baseline Regional Stipend for all incoming corps members, based on region

- An additional $3,000 Pell/EAD Stipend for Pell Grant recipients or EAD holders

- The option to apply for additional need-based support, including grants and zero-interest loans*

- Additional benefits through AmeriCorps (including federal loan forbearance, interest accrual payments, and education awards such as the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award)

- Guidance on obtaining an initial teaching license before entering the classroom and full teacher certification where state regulations require

- Master’s degree options

- Intensive teaching and leadership training and classroom preparation

- Access to a network of over 65,000 TFA alumni leaders across multiple fields and sectorsNeed-based packages are awarded based on demonstrated need and stipend amount.

Minimum Requirements:

- 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher

- Bachelor’s degree (in any field of study)

- Must be a citizen, national, or legal resident of the United States, EAD holder, or have DACA status

- Applicants do not need a background in education or teaching certification—all experience levels and backgrounds are welcome to apply.
