Overall Position Description
The Sr. Associate is responsible for supporting functions of the Individual Philanthropy team under the direction of the Vice President, Individual Philanthropy. The position will be responsible for supporting the Individual Philanthropy team with various administrative, reporting, project and meeting coordination tasks as well as maintaining team administrative resources. Although this position will support the entire team, they will provide significant support to the mid-level and planned giving programs. This position will also have limited opportunity for direct interface with donors.
Highlighted Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and project support to include Salesforce reporting, donor data hygiene, and gift accuracy
- Coordinate the preparation of materials before and after meetings and events as required, including presentations, memos, background materials and action items
- Support improvement of team processes and procedures and help maintain departmental resources (i.e. SharePoint, SOPs)
- Track and maintain inventory of team supplies
- Provide administrative and expense report support to vertical leads, as needed
- Other duties as directed
Qualifications
A well-qualified candidate will possess the following:
Background:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience in administrative/executive support function in a non-profit environment
- Experience in a fast-paced fundraising department is a plus
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook and MS Teams
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staff
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to organize time, work independently, as well as follow direction
- Ability to manage confidential information and observe donor privacy protocols
- Ability to anticipate needs and plan ahead
- Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving and strong decision-making capabilities
- Interest and knowledge of humanitarian assistance, international development, or global hunger is preferable

Salary
$60,000 - $65,000
